Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 2 hours
Serving: 2-4 people
Ingredients:
2 duck breasts, skin on 1/4 cup honey
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp Sriracha sauce
1 tsp minced garlic
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Preheat your sous vide machine to 135°F (57°C).
Season the duck breasts with salt and pepper to taste.
Place the duck breasts into a sous vide bag, skin-side up, and seal the bag, removing as much air as possible before sealing.
Place the bag in the sous vide machine and cook for 2 hours.
Remove the bag containing the duck breasts from the sous vide machine after two hours.
After a brief period of cooling, take the skin off the duck and throw it away. Honey, soy sauce, Sriracha sauce, and chopped garlic are mixed together in a bowl and thoroughly blended.
Add the honey mixture to a skillet that is preheated over medium-high heat. Using the honey mixture as a basting agent, sear the duck breasts for two to three minutes on each side in the skillet.
Slice the duck breasts, and then serve the sweet and sour duck on a dish with the leftover honey mixture poured over it.
Take pleasure in your sous vide-cooked Sweet and Spicy Duck, which is tasty and delectable.
